Kukoč paid $1.2 million for the home in 1993, per Goldsborough. Jerry Krause selected Kukoč in the second round of the 1990 NBA Draft, but the Croatian forward didn’t come overseas until signing a multi-year with the team in July 1993; he played six full seasons (and part of a seventh before being traded) with the franchise, winning three NBA titles and a Sixth Man of the Year award along the way.
