It’s that time of year. The time to overreact to last season, good or bad, create fake trades to improve your team and look ahead to next season.

That’s right, it’s the NBA offseason.

That also means it’s time for some offseason power rankings.

<p class="canvas-atom canvas-text Mb(1.0em) Mb(0)–sm Mt(0.8em)–sm" type="text" content="The Portland Trail Blazers were middle of the road last season. They impressed in the bubble, earning the eight seed in the Western Conference before losing in the first round to the eventual champion Los Angeles Lakers.

So where do they rank heading into the offseason?

At No.14, the Blazers rank right where they ended the season as the No.8 team in the west.

According to ESPN, the top teams in the west heading into next season are:

1) Los Angeles Lakers

A healthy Blazers team is a dangerous Blazers team.

Can they improve on last season’s 35-39 record?

Right now it looks like they have their doubters, and that’s just the way we like it.
