How would neutral site games impact a Celtics-Sixers NBA playoff series?

The Philadelphia 76ers have been a frustrating team for their fans to watch this season.

When the Sixers play in front of their fans at the Wells Fargo Center, they look like the NBA Finals contender that many experts predicted would win the Eastern Conference. The 76ers’ 29-2 record at home is the best in the league. Playing on the road has been a far worse story for the Sixers. Philly owns an abysmal 10-24 record away from home, which is the worst of the nine Eastern Conference teams resuming their season in Florida next month.

It’s very possible the 76ers could meet the Boston Celtics in the first round of the 2020 NBA playoffs. In fact, if the postseason started today, these rivals would play in Round 1 with Boston as the No. 3 seed and Philadelphia as the No. 6 seed.

All 22 teams participating in the league’s season restart will play in one central location at Walt Disney World. Will the games being played at a neutral site benefit or hurt the Sixers against potential playoff opponents such as the Celtics?
