Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo to miss Kings matchup after birth of son

Baby on board!

The Sacramento Kings may have caught a break Monday evening in Milwaukee, then again, maybe not.

Bucks superstar and reigning NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo is officially out after the birth of his son, Liam Charles Antetokounmpo.

The Greek Freak is averaging 30 points, 13.5 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game for Milwaukee this season. He is one of the most dominant players in the league and with his team posting a 45-7 record, he is the odds on favorite to win a second straight MVP award.

Milwaukee has played without their star four times this season and they are 4-0 with an average margin of victory of 18 points. If he can’t make it back in time for the game, the Bucks seem to have him covered.

Antetokounmpo received plenty of congratulatory tweets in response to his announcement, but one fan may have posted the most creative of all.
